Hidden beauty of Dalmatia by E-Bike
Day 1: Arrival
We settle into our accommodation on a farm near Drniš and have dinner.
Day 2: Vrana Lake
For the first day, we chose an easy ride on well-trodden macadam roads around the largest freshwater lake in Croatia, which is also a very important ornithological reserve. The top of Kamenjak, a viewpoint above Vrana Lake, gives us a stunning panorama of the Kornati islands that leaves no one indifferent. The length of the ride is about 20 km.
We return to the accommodation and have dinner.
Day 3: Following Romans
Roman roads lead us through centuries-old olive groves and vineyards in the hinterland of Vodice, along roads covered in maquis and fertile fields surrounded by dry stone walls. Along the way, we visit a local winemaker who takes us back to the past of the region with his interesting stories.
The length of the ride is about 30 km.
We return to the accommodation and have dinner.
Day 4: Svilaja – Spring of the Cetina River
Today, we ride along hills of Svilaja Mountain where vegetation and nature change every kilometer. Wild horses graze peacefully on mountain glades and merry shepherds guarding their sheep wave to us. Below the highest Croatian mountain peak, Dinara, the spring of the Cetina River, which springs at a depth of 150 meters out of a beautiful small lake, enchants visitors.

We return to the accommodation and have dinner.
Day 5: Krka National Park – Krupa Monastery
We leave our accommodation and visit Krka National Park and the beautiful Roški Slap Waterfall. After a short break, we continue the journey past old stone houses, which bear witness to the difficult life in the Dalmatian hinterland and its turbulent history. We cross an old stone bridge over the Zrmanja River and after a few kilometers, we reach a peaceful and lush oasis in the middle of the karst. We continue to the Krupa Monastery on the river of the same name.
The length of the ride is about 60 km.
We settle into our accommodation in nearby mobile homes and have dinner.
Day 6: Majstorska Cesta
After breakfast, we head to the plateau above the Zrmanja River where the famous films about the Apache chief Winnetou were filmed. Then, we ride our bikes across the Mali Alan pass to the continental part of Velebit, riding along Majstorska Cesta historical road with beautiful and impressive panoramas. We ride past Luka Mordić’s birth house and next to an amazing karst phenomenon of Tulove Grede we enter the beautiful oak forests on the Lika side of Velebit. Winnetou stand.
The length of the ride is about 55 km.
We return to the accommodation and have dinner.
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast, we head home full of impressions.
